About Michael Klare

In his book Blood and Oil, Micheal Klare explains how conservative leaders and think tanks have not only led the United States into a disastrous war in Iraq, but in addition have set the US on a course to acually import more and more oil from unstable and despotic regimes around the world in search of additional supplies of oil, and this includes the House of Saud. As a result of this and with the stationing of US troops on sacred Middle East soil, the US have invited the fury and hate of many Arabs. Klare states that this policy may lead to price shocks, supply interruptions, and in a worst case blackmail. And of course an unending stream of terrorist attacks against US interests all over the world.
