Meeting the leaders of today
In March, April and May, Maastricht Debates organises three dynamic events on current issues with leaders of today in the triple-A venue Selexyz Dominicanen book store:
On March 23, development cooperation in European perspective is debated with Peter van Lieshout, head author of the WRR report 'Less pretension, more ambition'.
In April (date to be announced), Louisa Diogo, former Prime-Minister of Mozamibique comes to Maastricht to share her views on the role of women in economic development, in Europe and beyond.
And on May 18, the Dutch politician Arend-Jan Boekestijn (liberals) will debate on the impact that countries like China, Brazil, and India have on the role of the EU in the global economy.
The entrance is free. Each event starts at 7.30 PM, the door is open from 7 PM onwards.
