Recent research done by the City Council, has shown that there is a need amongst expatriates for more information and communication between them and different local organisations. The results of this research were presented at the conference called: Expats At Home in Maastricht, hosted by the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance. As a follow-up to this event, the University is organizing an evening where expatriates can collect all information concerning all sorts of facilities and services, e.g. health insurance, banking, cultural and social activities, childcare. The fair is meant to give highly skilled immigrants living in Maastricht an overview of all possibilities and opportunities offered by the community of which they weren’t aware before. Next to that it’s an opportunity to meet, mingle and exchange with a very interesting network! The programme is as follows:
